DISCLAIMER
- Persons claiming to have 'Thunderfire' bloodlines IN AUSTRALIA unless endorsed by me personally are not recognised by me as having anything to do with my kennel. Back yard breeders or persons trading on the Thunderfire Prefix 'in the pedigree' are not part of my kennel nor are they endorsed by me.
- We are not affiliated with 'Manningdanes' despite the references to Thunderfire as a marketing ploy by same, this kennel has a lineage we did not continue with . We are not affiliated with 'Bluthunder' despite the vague similarity. We are not afiliated with Cosimadane despite the presence of a 'Thunderfire' in some pedigrees. (one dog does not make a bloodline) If in doubt please ask. Do not assume we are conected unless expressly endorsed by me personally or on this site.
* Dogs sold by me on limited register are deemed not for breeding unless reversed by me onto main registered and reclassified as breeding/show stock. I do not endorse nor will I have any come back on me for anyone unauthorised use of a Thunderfire dog on an unregistered bitch. (or vice versa)
- I will not be responsible for any pups out of any of my dogs outcrossed by another breeder to other lines .

We advice that you do your research yourself (firstly educate yourself on the standard for the breed,) and what you should be looking for , what style/colouof Dane you want and try and see the stock in the flesh. Go to dog shows if youcan and look at the breed in numbers. (A Great Dane specialty is the very best place to view the breed in numbers) Don't be in a rush. It may mean going further a field than you first anticipated, but decide what you want and make haste slowly. Make sure you feel comfortable with the breeders knowledge/ethics etc. Seek breeders who have many years of experience and have a good knowledge of the bloodlines they are working with and are able to easily answer all your questions.
You must be able to meet at least the dam of the pups in person, (the sire may not be there as an outside stud was used) and be able to meet the other relatives if applicable in person (not through a fence). temperament is paramount. People who just have a 'breeding pair' are usually puppy farming or just doing it to make a quick dollar or 'for the kids'. These are not serious breeders. Avoid back yarders who want to get pups out ASAP People who use the term 'get rid of' regarding their puppies are not usually the best people to buy from. Most good breeders will run pups on longer than 8 weeks and are not trying to flog them of to just anyone so be also prepared to answer many questions yourself as to your suitability as a future owner. |
